So, what are the best ways to go about building a NW deck? Should it revolve around using the Defender's Wall, go primarily NW with a few splash cards from your chosen house, Stark vs. Bara vs. some other house?

Right now I'm experimenting with my Stark NW deck, focused around using the wall (btw, who has my Building plot?) for challenge jumping. It's slow, and needs a third wall, and might not work the best. I was runing Stannis ooh and Defender's Janos ooh -- and drew noth in my hand after the flop. Made me wonder if I should have added Alliance to the deck (though I hoped to use the Narrow Sea to reduce Stannis).

I've heard there is a Martell NW deck that is doing well (makes me long for the good old days with the original agenda and Scorching Desert to abuse the kneel after stealthing ability).

Is Men With No King going to be a threat for NW (and Wildling) decks? Do I really want to lose my Wall to my opponent? Does that make a Bara NW running their Wall a better option? Should I run the new Jon Snow and Benjen for the MwnK protection, or the Core Set ones for the power grab and dead pile recursion? Currently, I use the new Jon Snow and the old Benjen.

And the one card I'd like to see: an Allister Thorne who would change all NW character's witht he No Attachments keyword to No Attachments except Weapon instead. That would be pretty sweet.

Thursday night I tried the deck out of Baratheon. Not using the Winter Wall, and actually finding that it isn't as necessary to the deck as I first thought (though it is a great addition). Deck ran smoother in Bara, and am considering adding Eastwatch byt he Sea -- even if just for theme. Switched to neutral Jon and Ghost, and need to add Aemon and perhaps Samwell (and maybe a Raven or two?) but am liking how it is standing up at this point.

I haven't played it yet, so I don't have tons of input. I do think Stark offers a bit better flavor and support, but Bara's acceleration and reducers probably do speed things along. Personally I would only run 2 agendas if you're going to run the defender Wall. In Bara I'd probably choose the Rangers and the Stewards since you'll likely have an abundance of characters with power icons.

its only 2 power which i dont consider to be much, Not often do your games end up being 15 power to 14 power

If you can gain power winning challenges as the defender, the opponent will not attack unless they feel they can win.

Relying solely on the Wall for defense isn't a great strategy. I am finding NW swarm is a good tactic.

The problem is getting the power fast enough. I could easily run more Bara renown characters, but then I am diluting the theme. And I am a Ned player at heart.
