With the arrival of the newest Battleground Kit, we are proud to announce that our first WoW Battlegrounds League will begin on August 2nd (because we are closed on August 1st). Cost to play in this league is $5, and will last until August 28th. If Cryptozic keeps with the current model, these will be ongoing monthlyl leagues.
Each week players can compete with other league members in tournaments and league play. We are currently holding two WoW Saturday tournaments each month, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Entry fee for these events is included in the league entry fee. This also means that entry into a Saturday tournament will cost $5, but will also get the player entrance into the league and the other tournament for the month. Upon joining the league each player will receive an Order of Lady Vashj card.
Players will earn points on a weekly basis, getting 2 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. You can earn points against each opponent once each week (including in the Saturday tournaments). At the end of the week, the player with he most points will win an exclusive card:
Weeks 1 & 2: Doshura Riesestrider EA card
Weeks 3 & 4: Lohn'goron Bow of the TOrn HEart EA card
Also, one random player will also win the weekly EX card.
Players can also earn Achievement points, which will be used to earn extra prizes. For every 200 Achievement points a player earns, they will receive a Badge of Justice promo card. The player who obtains the most Aps over the course of the league will earn a WoW Playmat.
